I ordered this item and immediately returned it. You will not receive the item in the picture. it is not the actual item. you will receive this item in mushroom color: Sunbeam Dynasty Nights Queen Heated Blanket, Seashell

I checked the stock numbers and they are the same, but other than the color, there is nothing alike. the fabric is that brushed polyester twill stuff and the controllers are not digital but the white ones with the manual spin dial. Which would be fine, if that was what they had pictured.... but they don't.

I used it for about 4 months and it got to the point where it wouldn't get warm at all.
As for support from sunbeam - Their warranty isn't worth the paper they used...

I love this blanket! It is great. The material is so soft, much nicer than some of the other blankets I had looked at in dept. stores. Most heated blankets I have looked at has had a rough, itchy material...not something you want in your bed! Also, these other blankets had big price tags...up to $100 dollars! This beats them hands down! I haven't had the product long, so I don't know about the life of the blanket or wear and tear but for now, I couldn't be happier! Great Value!

got the electric blanket fast after ordering and it was as advertised; new in package and works perfectly. The dual temperature control is ideal because I like it a bit warmer than my wife does. directions that come with the blanket coud be a little better but that has nothing to do with the seller. Good item, fast delivery, works. What else could one want?

I've made a big hit with my son-in-law with this product. Heats up fast and big enough to warm their double bed while brushing their teeth. Don't even need the timer I sent along with it. No more Seattle frigid sheet shock!

It seems soft, but we never used it. It says machine washable so I purchased it. Reading the washing and drying instructions is pretty funny. It's basically not machine washable or dry-able and I don't have time to deal with their washing and drying instructions. Here's a quote "Machine wash in mild soap and lukewarm water on slow cycle for 2 minutes. Rinse in fresh lukewarm water. Spin dry. Stretch to original size. Do not put through wringer." -- The drying instructions are similar. This thing is like an italian suit.

I have purchased 4 sunbeam electric blankets in the past two years.
None of them have lasted beyond 3 months. It makes the user feel crazy, because the product becomes super heated just before fizzling out.
Be sure to save your receipt and make copies. Sunbeam will rewire the blanket if you ship it to them...but they will not return your receipt.
After 1 rewiring, the blanket has again lasted 3 months.
Pretty upsetting to have a cold bed in the middle of February.

I don't understand what the problem is. I owned one electric blanket from 2001 through 2008 with absolutely no problems and the price wasn't anywhere near what the price is today, the fiber content and trim of the blanket were more substantial and I became a die-hard electric blanket user.

Now, I am holding on to the one corner of the blanket that works and hoping that it will last through the cold winter months.

Next year, I will consider finding a knowledgeable engineer to help me create my own blanket. I will not purchase another one of these Sunbeam duds.
