I am tired of replacing inexpensive Wallymarket electric blankets when they malfunction after one or two seasons. They also pill in use and always deteriorate with each wash, despite following instructions to the letter.

This blanket is made from fabric which feels luxurious, as does the subtle (but more-than-adequate) heat it produces, but if you like to roast in bed, this blanket is probably not for you. I particularly value the increased safety and reduced electromagnetic induction the low-voltage heating cables provide. They are very thin and undetectable unless you are specifically trying to locate them.

This is the first electric blanket I have ever owned that I feel comfortable leaving on all night. The dual controls on my king blanket are simple and easy to see and adjust. They are substantial and have quality "feel".

My experience, so far, is that it machine-washes and machine-dries perfectly - as claimed. I shall update this review is this proves not to be the case over time.
