Biddeford electric throws don't work and company return process is broken

I bought a Biddeford electric throw in July. The controller light went out and the blanket stopped heating after only two months. I called the Warrantee telephone number and was instructed by an answering machine to leave my number. A return authorization number is required. I'm still waiting for a response. The company website is confusing, doesn't work very well, and reference to needed links on return pages are not present. Cannot recommend this company or its products.

Well, a week later. Customer Service finally reached me. We immediately had an argument because she wanted all of the information I already had entered when I registered the blanket on the website and which she either did not want to access or could not access. While we were going through this unpleasant exchange, I was reminded about how unhappy I was that the blanket stopped working after such a short time, Biddeford's time consuming and unfriendly return policies, multiple trips to the post office, and mailing expenses I would have to incur to exchange the blanket for another one that probably would stop working like its predecessor. I told myself, no more products from or by any store that requires a return authorization number that cannot be obtained with one phone call or one email message. Moreover, Goodman's (and Amazon) should not sell, or facilitate the selling, of products made by any company that does not make it easy to exchange products that are defective.
